Supreme Court approves appointment of two Judges to J&K HC | KNO

New Delhi, Apr 16 (KNO): The Supreme Court Collegium has approved the appointment of two judicial officers as Judges of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. In a meeting held on Wednesday, the Collegium cleared the names of Sanjay Parihar and Shahzad Azeem for elevation to the High Court bench. As per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), both are currently serving as judicial officers in the Union Territory. The recommendations will now be forwarded to the Union Ministry of Law and Justice for final approval and issuance of formal appointment orders—(KNO)
